PNG to SVG turns a pixel image into scalable shapes. Do it for logos you want to print large, icons for a website, or cut files for a machine. Drop your PNG in below. The tracing happens inside your browser, so your file stays on your computer.

How to do it
Drop a PNG into the converter above.
Keep Colour mode for logos and illustrations. Switch to Cricut cut-ready (one colour) for a silhouette.
Set Colours to the number of flat colours in your image.
Check the preview against the original. Look at corners, curves and small text.
Download the SVG.
Transparent PNGs
A PNG with a transparent background traces without a background box. That is the cleanest input you can give it.
Best inputs
Flat logos, icons, lettering, clip art and line drawings. These have crisp edges and a few colours.
Worst inputs
Photos, soft shadows and glows. They have no clear edges to follow.
Questions
Does converting PNG to SVG make it sharper?
It makes a new drawing of the shapes, which stays sharp when enlarged. The drawing is only as accurate as the trace.
Will it keep transparency?
Transparent areas are left empty in the SVG, so the background stays clear.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The tracing runs in your browser tab, so the image stays on your device.
What does it cost?
Three downloads a day are free. Unlimited is $7.99 a month, or a 20-image pack is $6.99 once.
